What is the best way to clean the cigarette lighter without damaging the heating element. The one on my truck is caked with ashes and won't hardly heat up anymore. |

Use a Bic for cigs and use the lighter for hashish only. Unscrew the eleent from the handle...replace element with new one from Canadian Tire....heat till red hot....drop a small (5 gram) piece onto the element. (keep windows closed and heater/ac off). I bet I have 5 lighters in every vehicle...I always grab a handful at the wrecking yard. |
