What year/ size of crank pocket? Pre-68 (small pocket) 1968-1976 (large pocket) -D.Idiot Try 'parts wanted', or go to your local auto parts store and order a crank kit... |

Are you wanting a drop-in or a regrindable core? The crank and bearing kit in my motor came from Carquest. It was right around $200. ![]() |

Maybe we should be asking a question or two first. Exactly why are you looking for a forged crank, John? Do you need to replace one that's bad? Do you want to put a forged crank into a '76+ vintage engine? Roger |

I have a 225 crank from a 63 standing in the corner of the garage. Been there for 8 years now - still covered in plastic. The previous owner of my 63 dart gave me the original engine but without the block (a water jacket was cracked). I have no idea what condition it is in - probably a cuttable core. There is nothing wrong with the bottom end. just had to ask!! I bet NAPA frowns on warranteeing the piston though. ![]() |
