What year/ size of crank pocket?

Pre-68 (small pocket)
1968-1976 (large pocket)

Try 'parts wanted', or go to your local auto parts store and order a crank kit...

John,

Good to see you around here and nice meeting you at the Nats this year. I had the green 64 Dart 4dr running mid 14s.

Have you called the Coxes?

Are you wanting a drop-in or a regrindable core? The crank and bearing kit in my motor came from Carquest. It was right around $200.

Maybe we should be asking a question or two first.

Exactly why are you looking for a forged crank, John? Do you need to replace one that's bad? Do you want to put a forged crank into a '76+ vintage engine?

Post subject:  63 225 crank core

I have a 225 crank from a 63 standing in the corner of the garage.
Been there for 8 years now - still covered in plastic.

The previous owner of my 63 dart gave me the original engine but
without the block (a water jacket was cracked). I have no idea what
condition it is in - probably a cuttable core. The price is right - yours
for the hauling.

If you will be in or about San Diego, CA send me a PM

There is nothing wrong with the bottom end.

I bet NAPA frowns on warranteeing the piston though.
