I know that most will say that the best manifold for street use is the offy,in which I would have to agree. But how about a heavily modded slant with nitrous? On a build like:(Daily driver) .060 over,9.5-1 c.r,fully ported/polished head, large valves, and either the clifford(i know,i know) 268 torque monster cam(or what ever its called) or a reccomended custom grind(guys???)6 into 2 headers y piped to a single 2.5 pipe in a 73 dart sport A833 o.d with a 3.9 rear end.I dont really care about m.p.g,I just want to have fun with it in town/take it down to Vegas on weekends for some strip action. I was thinking that the clifford would be a better choice, because of the bigger runner design as compared to the offy design. What do you guys think? Slantzilla or any other slanters running around with a N.O.S?
I think that this will make a nice around town daily driver, nothing really extreem is going into the build besides the nitrous(which will only be used on the drag strip)

So let me hear some input/suggestions....Like a better cam, which manifold, how big of a shot can I use, which pistons should I use, which N.O.S should I go with?

As far as cam choices go, you might check out the erson E470621 at http://go.mrgasket.com/pdf/ChryPlyDodge.pdf. While the advertised duration is longer, it's actually 2 degrees shorter at .050 (222 v. 220) and the gross lift is slightly lower (.477 v .465). The good part is that you can get them through summit for a little under $100. I'm probably going to go with it on the build-up I am currently doing.

I'm not so sure most people would say that. There are a lot of different manifolds available—Offy makes two of them, and there are plenty of other brands—and there is no such thing as "the" best manifold for street use. Street use covers a lot of ground, and what's best for one vehicle, built with one set of goals, isn't necessarily what's best for any other vehicle.

How 'bout a Hyper-Pak?

Just heads up with whatever pulls up next to me,its more of a fun factor than trying to squeeze out a good e.t,Ill have another car there for that.

Hyper pak has been in the back of my mind, especially for future M.P.I/turbo project  also cool for the wow factor!

This is what I would do, others will have different opinions.
With NOS, I would use forged pistons, if you going to rebuild the engine, anyway. Stay at 75-100 hp shot. Keep the cam below .500 lift and less then 240 duration at .050. Manifold is not critical, for your intented use. I use a modifed stock, cast iron 1 bbl, with a holley 500 2 bbl carb and a fogger system, made from NOS components. Biggest thing with nos, make sure your fuel system is up to the task. If you go lean, kiss your pistons good by, in a heart beat. Also remember the old saying, "pay me now, or pay me later"? Nitrous is like that. It is inexpensive to install, but the bottle does need to be refilled on a regular basis, and that adds up. Nitrous has the biggest effect "off the line", where other mods generally make more power in the higher rpm ranges.
