Maybe the Better Business Bureau finally got enough complaints to whack 'em! ![]() Seriously, they just failed to pay their domain registration fees for cliffordperformance.com, which expired on October 21. Kinda reminds me of their prompt and helpful customer "service". |

Actually, I was talking with clifford on the phone this morning about one of their cams. The guy I spoke with said that they intentionally ditched the .com site because the webmaster wasn't doing things well. I'm assuming that he owned the domain name, and not them, so they just got a .net site and ditched the other. |

sorry to hear about bad experiences with clifford. i never had a problem with them. their stuff always arrived within a reasonable time and was good quality. i did have a bit of a bad experience on the phone with jack once, but he was just busy i guess. the company has gone thru some changes since he died. i'm just glad they're still around making inline speed parts for something other than ricers. -james |

I have found the best way to order parts from Clifford, is to ask if the part is in stock. Then get a confirmed shipping date, and method of shippment. Put the item(s) on a credit card, and tell the person you talk to, you will cancel the order, and put the amount on the card in dispute, if the items don't arrive by a certain date (allow a reasonable time for shipping). If the parts don't arrive within that time, don't listen to their excuses, cancel the order. |
