I am sure this has been covered before but i could not find it. Is there any available replacements for the fuel tanks sending unit on a 66 dart? I had the tank replaced but the sending unit line got bent and cracked the weld.

They are available from Laysons.com but you might be able to have it repaired for less. Replacements are $100 - 150

Don't buy anything from Layson's unless it is absolutely unavailable elsewhere. No sense paying his markup for stuff that's still available on the open market!

Fuel gauge sender for 1963-1974 A-body: Chrysler 4051004 or Spectra Premium FG69A. The latter available from www.rockauto.com for $75.

Your right about the part #4051004 still being available from Chrysler. DUH and i work at a Chrysler Dodge dealership. My cost is about $64.00 dollars with employee discount. Thanks to everyone for the assist. By the way they had a bunch available in the warehouses.
