I was about to buy my sway bar from p-s-t.com because I here so many raves about them, and everybody says to avoid the addco sway bars. Well... P-S-T.com sway bars ARE addco. They had me call the manufacturer to make sure I was buying the right bar, surprise "addco" andwered and said yes they supply the sway bars for p-s-t, exact same, nothing different. performancesuspension.com on the other hand sells Hellwig sway bars for $25 cheaper then summit. Hellwig gets many rave reviews and my sway bar that arrived has real beefy components and poly bushings. Instructions blow though. Just some info for you all. |

Most people dislike the addco mounts vs. the bars themselves. Did you take any pics of the bar mounted? I'd be interested to see how it mounts up. MJ |

The rear mount is good. The front mount could use some work........... (some grinding off of excess angle iron, and a thru bolt for the top mount) Not really hard to do, just have to get around to it. I also think the year of your car's K-member affects the goodness/badness of the front mounting. |

yeah, pst are addco bars, but i think they just charge a bit more to drop ship them. the addco bars could be nice with the proper mounts, mainly because they flex and minimal ground clearance. but i had a bit of trouble fitting one since the ends were too far apart and kept trashing link bushings over time. call dick ross at firm feel. his cost a little more, but fit like stock stuff. on my '70 swinger i used a '73 kframe and LCAs with swaybar tabs with a firm feel '73+up style (thru k-frame) firm feel 1 1/8" bar and couldn't be happier. -james |
