 Post subject: 63 72 convertion

i have a 63 valiant and i put the motor and tranny from my 72 valiant into it. i used the motor mounts from the 63 because the 72s did not fit the k frame corectly. now the motor is to close to the fire wall and the tranny is to far back. do i need to use the k frame from the 72

No. To put a '72 engine in a '63, you need the '63 oil pan and pickup, and the '63 engine mounts complete (brackets and all).
