Hi Guys
Haven't been around for awhile....... Been finishing up my Kustom

Now I need to get my turbo slant rebuilt so I can get my 64 Fury back on the road I check the block and pistons today and need to know the max bore on a .040 over block before I need to have it bored
The bore is 3.442 smallest to 3.4435 largest
The pistons are 3.418 @ the top and 3.436 @ the skirt
The pistons are TRW forged and the block is a 64 /225

The reason I took this motor apart is under boost it would push oil out the breather on the valve cover
Turned out to be broken top rings on 4 out of 6 pistons it had about 60k miles on it
Under no boost it ran and acted fine

I would check the ring lands, to make sure they are not colapsed. If they are good, just deglaze the cylinders, use a new set of rings, and reassemble. The broken rings could have been caused by detonation. Those TRW pistons, like to crack the skirts, when they get hit with detonation, so check the skirts closely.

The ring lands all look good as do the skirts but I will check them over better
