I've ordered my stuff from espo, and liked them alot. You could also look at PST. They have a polygraphite style bushing that is supposed to squeek less than regular poly bushings. Its a can of worms depending on who you ask

I want to gut the suspension and replace every available part on my project dart. Is energy suspension a good choice? Anyone know who has the most complete kit? Or, should I build my own from federal mogul or some other company like that.. OH and for the southwest, warm/dry climate should I go with graphite or rubber bushings? |

personally, i love the poly bushings for their stiffer ride quality, better handling and durability. just be sure to lube them well to avoid annoying squeaks. some people have trouble with poly lca bushings moving around (usually a product of bent strut rods and missing uca bumpers,) so they are often frowned upon. energy makes nice stuff and i've used their bushings on several of my cars. the pst kit i installed on my brother's '67 barracuda looked pretty nice and i don't think he's had any problems with it. i agree with menko regarding espo springs and things. they were a real pleasure to deal with and have a very knowledgeable and competent phone staff. like many websites, theirs does not cover all of their goods, so if you don't see something be sure to call and ask. -james |

Dig way back if you're interested in a detailed explanation as to why I detest polyurethane bushings (and the hype surrounding them) and believe them to be junk when installed in "Mopar" front ends. D/W |

Make sure you read the hype about why people detest them and think they are junk on Mopars because they cant make them work on their cars and wont listen to people who CAN make them work well on daily drivers. ~chuckle~ <snerk> |

I just started putting a set of poly bushings 'Energy Suspension' brand into a set of V-8 leafs I scavenged that are in great shape (better than the sagging OEM slant ones under my car). The kit is really nice...Autozone $50.99....recieved it in 24 hours... Unlike NAPA that I ordered a set of their 'Perfect Circle' brand (they couldn't get any MOOG bushings for my mopar at all...morons...), I'm still waiting as they had to ship the bushings from Fort Lauterdale, FL...for $15 more...  -D.Idiot |

Why, Sandy, as we have discussed ad nauseum in the past, that's not it at all. ...as a matter of fact, one of my cars is equipped with them (a bad decision), that is how I know so intimately of their drawbacks. I'm not going to repeat myself, but I have given lengthy fact and physics-based reasons and support as to why I find polyurethane bushings (as marketed) to be unsatisfactory on Mopar front-ends, just because you can't (or don't want to) grasp my arguments doesn't mean that I don't know what I'm talking about.~chuckle~ <snerk> D/W For the record, I think polyurethane in Mopar rear suspension is just swell (really, I do), and if you like popping and squeaking from the front suspension and accellerated wear if you drive aggressively, go ahead and go "poly".
