Hi All,
I'm overhauling my first 904 and I need a new transmission mount.Anyone know where they might be available at a reasonable price?
Thanks

Try http://www.imperialservices.net/default.htm I think they sell poly mounts for most applications. But they aren't exactly cheap.

It looks like they have tooled up for throttle cables in case anyone is looking for an odd/custom setup.

How about a normal auto part store?

Yep, still a common part; used from 1962-1972. Anchor number 2272 if you don't mind generic quality, or Schumacher sells higher-quality polyurethane items at 10x the price of the generic (on the other hand, it'll last 10x as long, so...pay now or pay later!)

But, who needs a mount that will last 300 years?

Ah, but you assume the $7.50 Anchor mount will last thirty. The current Anchor-made stuff (from...erm...Indonesia? China? Honduras?) is not exactly OE-quality...

How come the anchor transmission mount only has one stud that bolts to the cross member instead of two?

All replacement mounts I've seen have only one bolt, and the later mopars (at least 68-up) only used one bolt from the factory. Nothing to worry about.
