Now you can take on the V8's and The Rice Rockets with 100 horsepower + true bolt on ProCharger kits from The Supercharger Store. For all of you who have been asking, we now have the kits available for the Slant 6. These kits must be used with a 4 Barrel intake and Holley Double Pumper Carburetor. Power steering is not an option with this kit and the battery must be relocated. For more information contact The Supercharger Store at 520-456-9706. |

I've always figured this would be (relatively) easy for them to offer, but never thought they'd have the wherewithal to bother. I like this option over a turbo because I could keep my hard-earned Dutra Duals (and carb heat), but I guess the idea of a supercharger and any semblance of practicality would just be silly... I just want one. VM |

heres a link for everyone: http://thesuperchargerstore.com/ I think that is where this guy is from. its kind of funny, I was just looking at this site yesterday! by the way, DONT type in superchargerstore.co m (that space is intentional so I don't make a hyperlink) because it will route you to a truck site. you have to type THEsuperchargerstore.com to go to the right place. |

I got a little more info from Bob for you guys including some pricing: "We recommend 8 to 1 compression ratio and 114 degrees lobe separation angle if you are changing the camshaft. We also recommend water injection in lieu of an intercooler as the water injection is much more effective than an air to air intercooler, is easier to install, is less intrusive to the vehicle and costs less at $740.00. The supercharger kit is $3456.00 and includes everything up to but not including the carburetor. You will need a Holley with mechanical secondaries set up for blow through along with a fuel injection fuel pump and boost referenced bypass regulator. We have talked to Performance Carburetor, who does our carburetors, and they will do a blow through 450 CFM for $450.00 and the fuel pump and regulator are $305.00." Hope that helps |

We recommend 8 to 1 compression ratio but higher ratios will work with water injection. Water injection is much more effective than air to air intercooler, is easier to install, is less intrusive to the vehicle and costs less. We have customers using the Mopar Performance Electronic Ignition with the chrome ECU on V8's at 10 psi boost, but they close their spark plug gap to .022'' to .025". Forced induction is very practical and in fact is the best way to make a lot of power on pump gas! We will post pictures of the prototype next week. We do not have a four barrel intake (I sold a Clifford two years ago and TRIED to buy it back last week) so we just placed a Holley four barrel on the single barrel intake to mock up the plumbing. Thanks! |

I look forward to your pictures. am I correct in thinking that you CAN use the clifford 4-barrel intake with your system? -dave |
