Hello all, I thought that title would get you're attn. I have to buy a new power steering pump. The parts store has two different ones to pick from. One is a Saginaw, the other is a Federal. Which one do

I have? Mine is more of a "can" looking , rounder housing. I think the other is thinner. Pictures of them would be good for me. Thankyou in advance. I know someone will be able to help, as I have never not gotten good info. here. This site is a great source. Bart

Off of rock auto:

Saginaw - http://www.rockauto.com/ref/Cardone/Det ... 206159.jpg
Federal - http://www.rockauto.com/ref/Cardone/Det ... 206186.jpg

The ones above are $38 for saginaw $52 for federal. I'm not sure I'd want to risk a parts store unit - you may want to try firmfeel units.

But then again, when I had to replace my ps pump I left it off and put in manual steering

NP buddy. www.rockauto.com is a good source for pictures - it links directly to manufacturers sites - sometimes they only lead to generic pages, but sometimes, in this case, it gives you a specific picture.
