ok i took the ciol of the duster and didnt realize there was as condenser hooked to it and i kinda yanked the wired out of the condenser and it is now useless... One person told me the duster wont get fire if this weas not replaced.... however. another person told they were used to reduce radio static.... and since it was not insidethe diistributer cap there would be no point to replace it sonce i have aaftermarket sony head unit.... which is true... Thankws i know ya'll have the answer so thanks _dave |

The condenser you broke was attached to the coil's primary + terminal and was indeed the radio noise suppression condenser. New from NAPA, Echlin RC-10. The ignition condenser is inside the distributor and connected to the coil's primary - terminal. |
