I am about to switch my spindles so I CAN RUN disc brakes any does and donts. Should I remove the torson bars first

You don't have to remove them. In fact if you are brave and have a floor jack you don't even have to relieve the tension on them. I would STRONGLY suggest that you do relieve all the tension on the T-bars just for the simply fact that if the jack slipped out from under the lca it would break anything it hit. There is a 3/4 head bolt that stick out of the middle of the bottom of the lca loosen it until it is loose. The car should be jacked up and the bolts threads should be very well oiled when you attempt to loosen this bolt.

Also most a body disc swap require changing uca's so keep that in mind.

I didn't remove them or release tension on them when I went from 9" drums to my KH discs. Heck I didn't even have it re-aligned

Even if you loosen the height screw all the way, there is still some tension the bar puts on (thats why the bar requires a hammer to put in...) so if you want the lca to flap about to ease install, you have to take the bars out (or at least out of the lca socket)

Loosening the screw all the way does release all the tension from the bar. The reason you can't remove the bar without the tool is that it binds due to friction in the lca bushing. If you loosen the nut at the front of the lca the t-bar will slide out. As I said you don't have to release the tension but for safetys sake release the tension.

If you do loosen any bushing bolts (uca cam bolts or lca pivot nut) make sure you tighten them with the cars weight on the suspension.

I thought that too. But I am getting the part from Drmopar440 and he check some book, Shop manual, and told me that the 69 donor car's spindles should be a straight bolt up. Any one know where I can get the 5-4 hubs I need, or can I use the one peace hub and rotor set up I see all over the place Thanks for the info

69 disc spindles would be a direct swap in, using your original upper control arm, ball joint, lower control arms, etc. Prior to taking everything apart, I would make sure I had everything necessary to easily complete the swap. That said, sounds like you're looking for the not so easy to find 2 piece disc/hub assembly for the Kelsy Hayes 4 piston set-up. The disc itself can be had relatively easy - got a pair of them thru Advance Auto. The hub is a used item only. The 1 piece set-up is for the 73-76 A Body (as well as other Mopar applications) and can't be used for the KH set-up. Also make sure you have the 4 piston calipers, rebuilt preferably. Supposedly they are available thru Rock Auto, but you have to provide a core in exchange. Last I heard they were N/A. Drop me a line if you need more info
