I am changing from a hydraulic to solid cam soon in my 84 daily driver pickup. Just wanting to make sure that beyond the obvious rocker arm change, there is nothing major I need to do. I am changing springs, timing chain/gears, and of course lifters. I am aware that ya need to do machine work to use a hyd. cam in a solid lifter block. If there are any passages or anything I need to block, or open up, now is the time to find out....not learn the hard way!! Any info much appreciated.
Thanks!
Bill

Just use the complete solid valve train. Cam. lifters, pushrods, rocker arms and shaft.
