Hello! I just bought a set of rings for a slant six engine, very cheap, because the seller didn´t know what size (std/.30/60 etc) they are. How do I measure them correctly? Do I have to squeeze them so the ring ends touch each other then take a o.d. measurement? Thanks! Chris |

Your measurement will get you close but it is best to try the rings in a bore. this will help you find the "file to fit" sets that are over common bore sizes. Trouble is that most people don't have all the different bore sizes available. DD |
