ok when i put my intake and holley on i have been running my 225/904 without a kickdown for 1200 miles i have been just shifting it 1-2-3 for now but i want to do it the right way i dont see a need in finding a 2bbl kickdown and then having to fabricate a way to use it what is the deal with lokar place to get them and how they work and how to fab them to work thanks guys dustin |

1200 miles? I hope you wired the kickdown lever on the trans halfway back for at least a FEW of those miles... VM |

i just have it siting there dont know alot about trannies but i know enough that what i am doing is not good so i need some advice on what i should do |

WHich manifold you using? You get the parts at summit or any one that retails lokar - theres no fabrication, if your using a 4bbl manifold lokar also makes a generic 4 bbl bracket that will space things just right for a holley 4bbl. I used the lokar thorttle, kickdown, and brakcet when I ran my 390 w/clifford manifold and it worked well. |

ok well what can i do here then i am using a supersix manifold with an adapter right now in the near future i will be getting the 4 bbl offy or cliffy which ever i can get cheap can i get the one for a 4bbl and adapt it to work on the 2bbl intake until i get the right manifold? thanks for all the trouble dustin |

The lokar bracket is made to attach to one bolt of the 4 bbl flange - it probably will work with the 2>4 bbl adapter. I say buy it and try it, if it doesn't work on the adapter (which I don't see why it wouldn't) then it will when you get the legit manifold. Otherwise, its highly suggested you wire the lever about half way back or else your transmission will not like you very much. |

dont put too many miles on with out a kick down! i burt up a fresh 727 that way! not a cheap thing to learn. |
