Hey guys- Just picked up some nice looking used rallye wheels. They have a few rust spots. Any tips on removing the rust and repainting them? |

I wish! I live in a small NYC apartment. My nice Polish landlord would definitely frown on some sandblasting. Any recommended chemicals I can try? |

Well, how bad is the rust/paint buildup? For light rust try steel wool. For heavy rust try Naval Jelly. For heavy duty stripping try Jasco or Citris-Strip. |

There are companies in most towns/cities that specialize in sandblasting and chemical stripping. However they might charge $10+ per rim. Sandblasting gives a good surface for future painting |
