i have a '72 Valiant auto. what can i do to get rid of the kickdown linkages. i am wanting to have more options, possible dual carbs. what trannies could i swap in and what is the average total cost to swap to manual. i know prices vary wildly, but just wondering what swaps some of you guys have made. my old lady dosen't like the slant too much and i am trying to sell her on tricking it out rather than swap in a cookie cutter V8 |

The Lokar cable is a relatively painless alternative to the factory setups. The instructions are a bit lacking, but it's all pretty straighforward if you just look at what it needs to do. |

That accel/kickdown mounting bracket sure does look nifty though... If I had it to do over again, I'd probably by that instead of the jerry-rigged setup I have now. Heck... I may still... |
