I want to run a 68 and up 904G with my 63 225. Is the required converter bushing made by someone? And if so, where can I get one.
Thanks

No can do. The adaptor bushing lets you run a late ('68-up) engine in front of an early ('67-down) transmission. The opposite swap is not possible by means of an adaptor; you'd have to do extensive parts replacement in the engine or the transmission in order to make the swap you want to do.

What's the goal?

Or you could have a custom torque converter made. After you counted labor costs, I'd wager that would be cheaper (and far easier) than the massive parts replacement. This process has been discussed numerous times in previous threads.

I have a good running 225, and a 904 with broken park mechanism, ball and trunion, external oil filter and cable operated. I want a new 904 so I can mount a Lokar floor shifter and have a slip yoke and internal oil filter.
Thanks

Nothin' wrong with ball & trunnion front U-joints in good working order (and when they wear out, they can be rebuilt, and it's possible to run cross-and-roller U-joints on the early transmission with the conversion kit

Internal filters are readily available for the early transmissions, so that's not an issue, either.

Might be easier to fix the broken park mechanism than to do all this swapping. What's the matter with the park mechanism?
