Well, maybe you will!
I got it!
Carb - timing - kickdown - not perfect, but it's working enough to feel secure that nothing is gonna break or blow up!!

HAHAHAHAHA - yea right

Anyway, I reset the timing mark on the dampner.
Then I adjusted the timing - and then listened to it and adjusted it a little further.

After that, I started staring at the kickdown stuff.
I spent about two hours looking, thinking, running in to feed the kids more stuff and holler at them for slamming into the walls and letting me hear it outside! (Happy Campers!) I took one of my other carb rods and started farting around with it and figured out away to get the carb and the kickdown to actually work in the same direction!!

Fired it up - after I stuck it in gear! And away I went = KICKDOWN WORKS! Timing and carb are almost right there! It downshifts, it upshifts, it idles ( not perfect yet), and it GOES! Again not perfect! But, I know it will allow the kids and I to travel again!!

YEEEE HAAAAA!!!!
Just remember, this is me - and since I am happy and things are looking up, the FIT IS GONNA HIT THE SHAN!!!

Wish the rain would quit - hey, has it been 40 days and forty nights yet? Dang close here.
