| Post subject: | Multi-Carb intake manifolds |
I've recently started working on finishing my 62 Valiant after many years in storage (about 15 years). So I've been out of touch with what is happening on the scene. With some general Googling I've found reference to a 'ProLineFuel' multi carb intake manifold for the Slanter. Since this car is a Street Cruiser (I guess it would be called a Resto Mod) I think this intake would look Great on my slightly modified 225 / 6. I've posted on another forum but haven't gotten any responces. The question now is were any of these manifolds produced and sold ? The company seems to be out of business. Am I wasting my time looking for this manifold ? |

That was an offy 2x1 bbl manifold machined to fit the webers. The 2x1bbl manifold is still sold new... |

See this thread. There have also been dual- and triple-sidedraft manifold setups for the slant. I have several of these, from Australia, with SU CD carbs. I keep promising those who ask that I'll sort out what I have and what's for sale, but so far I haven't got round to it |

| Post subject: | dual weber intake by offy |
i bought one of the offy dual weber 2 barrel setups from chris at proline fuel but he told me he had to go out of business due to family problems. the intake works and looks great but getting the shift linkage is being some problem. i will have my 77 volare at farmington on may 13 to run it for the first time since putting in 4:10 gears. there is a hyperpak intake made by clifford i believe that you can install a four barrel of your choice. again the shift linkage on an automatice will need some fabrication work. |
