Could somone help me out here? I installed new Lower control Arm bushings and front strut rod bushings. Do you tighten the lower control arm mounting studs with the suspension loaded, and to what torque? How tight do the front strut rod bushings get tightened.

Thanks,

Rick

Seems like those things should be in the FSM? Tighten the LCA bolts with the car on the ground (loaded susp) to about 100ft lbs, maybe a bit more. Be careful with SR bushing nuts as you can hurt the bushings. I'd say run them down until the cotter pin hole is well exposed on the rod. If you have the MOOG improved bushings with the metal sleeves, then you can go a bit tighter - maybe 40ft-lbs. Personally, I do a lot of this stuff by feel.

Thanks Lou,

That will help a lot. I do need to get a FSM for sure.
