Hello everyone,

I am going to bite on using KYB's for my d100 truck front shocks. The threads and discussions convinced me. Yet I didn't find in them an opinon of or if there is any REAL difference other than price between KYB's GR-2 "gas shock" and their "gas-a-just" shock. The first is about $15 less than the second. Pouring another $30 into the black hole won't make any difference to me, but the names make me wonder if there is any difference? I am confused after going to the KYB site and to several vendor sites. My confusion comes because in the '70's I used monroe shocks that you could pump up with an air compressor hose and they were called adjustable shocks. I gather KYB's have high pressure inside, and gas-a-just does NOT mean adjustable?

Thanks

Gas-a-just is simply the brand name - no used adjustable parts. They only make the g-a-j for A-bodies, so I have no experience with the GR2s. I say, spend the $30 and you'll get a better product.

I have gr2 on a beater daytona of mine and must say they are not good riding struts. Maybe others have had better luck with them, but mine are jarring to ride and drive with.
