:( That's sad to hear. I knew his health had been declining recently, but had not yet heard of his passing.

He had to be one of the best 4-speed racers ever. (I think he was the best, really.)

He'll be missed by many. :(

Just as a side note, yesterday I was heading south on I-5 and in the northbound lane was a pickup trailering a 1966 Barracuda that was red-white-and blue with the Sox Martin logo on the side...Probably heading to Woodburn Dragstrip, not sure if that was a clone or ???

Of all the race drivers I've wanted to meet, he was number 1. I had always hoped he could teach me how to power shift my good 'ol A833. I'm not sure how I would have paid him for it though. :(

Who is left from the old gearjammer days of "Super Super Stock" (now Pro Stock). :(
