Just read DusterIdiot's post about an 18 gallon tank for his Dart. Is this a sedan-only thing, or could I swap an 18 gal. tank for my 16er? I'd KILL for 2 more gallons — then I could drive to work all week and only fill up on weekends!

It's possible the tanks are physically the same.

They may have changed the amount of air in the tank by changing the vent and fuel filler exit locations to give less tank capacity.

It's in a 1967 Valiant, and it's different in some ways than the 1974-1976 Tanks I have...the tank holding strap (only one) goes from rail to rail on the rear subframe not two straps from front to back...it's a bit bigger than the duster tank (looks like it is a few more inches toward the rear axle), and the vent is different on it....
