Please help! I am new to the slant six area. I have a 1968 charger with a 23 spline a833 trans. I installed the 6 cylinder k-frame, installed a 1974 225, purchased a o/d bellhousing and replaced the bearing retainer to adapt the 5.125 belhousing to the 4.35 23 spline trans. NOW I was told I need a 122 tooth flywheel. where or who carries this, any suggestions?also is a 1969 225 better than a 1974 besides the erg intake? Thanks alot. tim my email is chitownshaker@netzero.com any help is greatly appreciated. |

I'll let the pros address your questions, but hats off to anyone willing to install a slant in a '68 Charger, rather than go the typical V8 route... Good luck! VM |

no, not an aussie charger. Its actually a charger r/t that I want to drive and not waste 3.50 a gallon for gas. Plus I think it will be something different. Just need some utside info though |

You just need the flywheel and clutch for a "1974 Duster 225"... with all the cars getting gutted for V-8's someone should be able to get you a fly wheel for cheap, otherwise the parts store should be able to get you the kits you need, just use the above model year and car... Sounds like a fun project. -D.Idiot |
