Any preferences of Wagner or Raybestos? One better than the other, or are they basically the same? (horror stories?) Thanks |

For my '71 Satellite, I bought a 10" drum brake hardware kit from Paddock & made by Bendix. It was good, except that it came with the wrong adjuster cable (the one with a washer-like end and a hook at the other end). Paddock was excellent and gave me a another whole kit, but it had the longer cables for the 11" drums rather than the 10". Quality was good and almost everything was in the kit. My local parts place carried the right length cables, so everything worked out fine. |

When I redid my '64 Valiant brakes about 5 years ago, it seemed that hardware kits were not available... I got mine ala-carte in Bendix. One of the auto stores in my area had a whole wall full of Bendix hardware in blister-packs, so I took some old samples along, and matched them up. DidI do it the hard way ? Frnk McMullen |
