I have '72 Duster that came with a split back bench seat. I want to change from a steering column shift to a console shifter. No console, just something like a B&M Megashifter. Can I just recover the bench seat and put in the Megashifter, or do I have to go with buckets?

You can go with the bench seat no problem. My Duster orginally came from the factory with a three speed on the floor with a bench seat. My buddy also has a 73 Nova with a B&M starshifter in the floor and it has a bench seat also with no problems
