| Post subject: | Idler arm bracket resize. |
The new Idler arm I got for my 64 valiant has too big a tapered shaft to fit into the old bracket hole. this hole was the cause of all the play in the front end to begin with. should I try and ream it out to accept the bigger idler arm shaft? |

Sounds like you might have an incorrect new arm. |

other then the differences I mentioned it was identical to the old one. In either case. I resized the hole and bolted everything up. it seems to be alright. I'll have to wait until tuesday to get it aligned. |
