The new Idler arm I got for my 64 valiant has too big a tapered shaft to fit into the old bracket hole. this hole was the cause of all the play in the front end to begin with. should I try and ream it out to accept the bigger idler arm shaft?

Sounds like you might have an incorrect new arm.

Too many people who were born on third base actually believe they've hit a triple.

other then the differences I mentioned it was identical to the old one. In either case. I resized the hole and bolted everything up. it seems to be alright. I'll have to wait until tuesday to get it aligned.
