I've been offered a full 2.93 BBP rear end w/wheels - and tires for what that's worth - for $200. DEAL or DON'T DEAL? Maybe?

I went out there, but the state requires escorts in the yard for safety purposes and they were all busy. Whatever became of the "reasonable and prudent man" who had better sense than to walk under a hoisted hulk or whatever?

The 8.25 will require you to find a shorter driveshaft or have your shortened.

Not familiar with Duster rears in particular, but I can get a replacement 8.25 for my pickup for around $150 (drum to drum) at the local yard back home.

for what it is worth, the local pick a part here in the south east gets
$67.86 for ANY rear end "drum to drum"

just my .02 cents

Well, add a couple wheels and radials with over half the tread. Not too far off.

Sounds interesting. How far would I have to drive from here in anti-Mopar country (Ooltewah, TN) to grab one?

A complete rear drum to drum with wheels and tires for $200 sounds like a good deal to me, as long as you are satisfied with the ratio.
I am in MOPAR country, 2 years ago at the Pittsburgh slant six races I picked up an A-body 8 3/4 complete drum to drum with 3.23's and a sure grip which was exactly waht I was looking for, for $250. Only my brother in law can find deals like that though.
