That debate has raged forever as to which end goes where. They are normally installed with the L or R to the rear though.

My new torsion bars are marked R and L. So assume that Left is Driver side and Right is Passenger side. Also, how do I know which end goes where? It seems like if there is a left and right then it matters which end points forward and the other back. bwhitejr |

I just drew a picture of the set-up and doesn't appear to matter. The twist applied to the bar is in the same direction no matter which end you install to the front. As long as you have the R bar on the right and the L bar on the left. I am assuming that the R bar is the passenger side and the L bar is the driver side. bwhitejr |

True, but it's a lot easier to read the part number when it's at the back.
