Is the GM p\n 5651705,for a 3/8 or 5/16 tube? By the way according to the Chrysler parts guy NS1 means that part is no longer available.

GM P/N given is for 5/16" tube, as requested. And yes, NS1 means "no longer serviced".

Chrysler is no help with the 3/8" pickup either, but I've heard you can still get one for a Ford pickup. Anyone know the Ford part #?

www.jimsautoparts.com has a 5/16" and 3/8" sock listed. Year one has both sizes listed for a bit cheaper as well.

What kind of monster motor are you running that you need a 3/8" fuel pickup? 5/16" is plenty big enough for all but the biggest and thirstiest V8s.

I think the senders that have a fuel return line only come in the 3/8" size..........

Well, sure, but that's Spectra's odd build decision, not the factory's. And the Spectra senders come with strainers.

Most of my cars have just 5/16" line, some have w/ 3/8" fuel line, but could have used 5/16" just fine. My Jeep J10 uses (factory) 3/8" line, while the Tidewater Mopar Club's current giveaway car project is a 1968 Fury convertible that will probably need a 5/16" to 3/8" upgrade.

Thanks for the info about where to find the socks.
