Hey, gang.

I've got a 1964 V100 That I'd like to convert over to the 4.5" wheel
bolt so I can get some larger meat on the corners. I'm looking at a
modest 15x7 wheel setup, but I'm a little shakey on what offset I
should get for the wheels. Anyone else try this on their 64 and have some friendly
advice? Any help you can provide will be much appreciated.

For extra information, I've switched the front brakes out with a
Wilwood conversion kit. I haven't converted the rear yet. Still trying
to figure out what I'll do with that. I'm keeping the six in it, so I
don't need an 8 3/4. Any advice you can offer on converting the rear
bolt pattern to 4.5" would be much appreciated as well.

The wheels I'm looking at can be found here:
American Racing Vector SE

Thanks a million.

Chuck

Welcome to the board! :D

I have 15X8 Weld Wheels on my '66 Valiant, but I did have to massage the wheel openings some.

Alternatives are a 7-1/4" from a '73 and up A body disc brake car, an 8-1/4" from the same, or even an 8.8 out of an Exploder.

I understand that a five-bolt rear from a Maverick is pretty easy to bolt in.

Thanks for the welcome! It's good to be here. Thank you very much for the help. Always nice to hear from someone with experience before sinking a ton of money on wheels.

I think the 73-up rear is going to be my best bet. I'll check the local yards for something like that.

Thanks again for your help!

I'll have to look into that if I can't find a suitable 73+ A body. Thanks for the advice!
