Post subject:  Weber 32/36 Carburetor
Wasn't sure if this had enough merit to beposted in the engine forum, so to be safe I'll post here.

I have a Weber 32/36 progressive 2 bbl carb that has a water choke setup. Problem is I'd rather have an electric choke setup. So, simply put, is it possible to convert my 32/36 water choke to an elctric choke?

For weber thingies, I just go to the junkyard, and find what I want, and fit it where I want it... So far, I have had very few problems with non compatible thingies on them.

Remember that some webers are mirror images of some other webers, so some things work in the opposite direction...

Sorry, it is late, and I am not sure I make much sense, but you can do it!

As always, you have to know where to look (under which hoods, etc.). I wonder how many members are expert carb scroungers in that respect. I know one that is very far from it.

Well, it is surprising how many domestic cars alone used the weber 32/36.

Several years of capri and pinto used the weber 32/36 (or the holley mimic).

I've heard of some GM's (and I think toyota, may want to verify) that use the carb as well.

And as the Holley is a dead look alike, I'm sure that most of the basic parts are interchangable.
