I went to my local parts store to price out the extra parts required for the scarebird conversion using new wagner parts.
here it is

72' Dodge dart disc/drum MC wagner#mc75819. 83.74
90' chevy celebrity calipers. 27.86 each
" rotors. 33.88 each
" pads 41.30
79' chevy caprice hoses 13.47 each

along with new studs the quote totaled 261.80 (subject to change) plus 99.95 for the mounting bracket. and getting the rotors redrilled. ( do you really trust yourself to do it? I'm a pretty good mechanic but I'm no machinist. ) you also need a proportioning valve and probably some hard brake lines to replumb the system. realisticly your looking at $400+ for all new parts and the bracket. which really isn't bad considering you dont have to change spindles and ball joints and possibly convert to BBP and then get new wheels and tires.

this swap fits my needs to a tee. I keep all my 64' suspension. I like my SBP wheels and hubcaps and parts are readily available. When I finally get around to hopping up a /6 this is probably what I'll do. until then I spent $100+ on rebuilding my 9"ers. I got get my moneys worth.

I've meet Tom (owner of Scarebird/Tallzag auctions) several times, he is a nice guy and his parts are very well made. I plan on using his upgrade kit for the big 11" disks, hopefully later this summer (after I get a happy sway bar... 8) )
