Just as an added bonus, at the RT66 Classic Slant 6 race I will hand $100 to the driver of the street car that goes farthest in the race. If all of you go out in the same round, best reaction time gets the dough. :D

This applies to true DOT street cars only, and I will not include my car in the bonus. Car must be run on street tires and through exhaust.

No puttin' a Cherry Bomb and ET Streets on your car now Possum.

Bagel ole buddy i doint know if i can make it up or not we have some issues here and we look at the next race and see. Things could change a lot and i could revamp my scedule. If Norm wins one more 40 point race it is about doomsday for every body else. Somebody would have to win four 40 point races. It can be done but it is tough racing with this bunch of Slant Racers. But if you could blast me a RT66 T shirt i will match your 100 dollars how bout that Bagel. Your racing buddy Possum

It is far from over. Too many possible 50 pts races coming up. NW has been 50 in the past. Farmington was 2 cars away from 50 so Piedmont has that pssiblility. Clay City has been 50 pts and Pitt is shaping up to have a chance at it as well. Bristol....maybe since it will be in the fall this year???

You Georgia boys need to hold off handing him the championship just yet. He has a nice lead but has used up 4 of his 6 races. Dale has only counted one, Barry Harrison has only one so far, Ron H. is only counting 2 and we all know he could run off 4 wins in a row. Man I didnt think Rebels gave up that easily! :D I know some around here that are still fighting the Civil War! The Tar Heels will be at NW ready to do battle so all you boys better pack a lunch!

There is no one here giving up hell had I not gone 003 red he would have been out second round. He also left off his bulb instead of mine and had a 210 light. Your right there could be a 50 points race somewhere Wilkesboro or maybe Bristol Piedmont is the last chance for points and a lot of that i think will be how the points shape up. With fuel costs and motels one just has to be practial sometimes. Hell i aint got money to burn like You and Dale. All i was saying is im leaving all my options open can you dig that. I will see you when we race. Bring them Tar Heels on you can git some of me anytime. We can win with our junk :D Ron Parker

Hell Begal i hope it leaves a big mark. We would like to try a couple of new venues if we can. Im in trying to win the points series but i leave my options as where i race. I think that was a cheep shot at me because i posted if I could not win the Championship i might go to Baytown Texas instead of Piedmont. It would be very costly to go to Piedmont Oct 14 and turn around and go to Baytown the next weekend. It is 700 miles to Baytown for me. I can not afford to spend at least 500 dollars everyweekend to go racing. Baytown would probaly be two more tanks of gas. My truck has a 34 gallon tank so you figure at 12 miles a gallon two hundred more miles one way. Your racing friend Possum :D

I just want people to know it aint over just yet. After NW, Pitt and CC we will have a better picture of how the points are shaping up and you still have more races after that. This points race will go down to the wire and I think there will be at least 3 drivers with a shot at it going into Bristol and Piedmont.

Your right it is not over and probally go down to the wire. I doint think i said what i waned to say in that post im no writer. Our schedlue ends at Piedmont dragway and i doint really see it changing. Piedmont is a new venue for us so we plan on doing it along with three more races. But sometimes plans have to be changed for what ever reason and i might have to adjust to that. Im going to stay the course and lets see what happens. I beleve there is five driver that have a good chance of winning the championship and one is you you have a 40 pt win. There is still a lot of racing to do. Thanks Ron Parker :D
