Do they make such an animal? I tried to have mine rebuilt for 2500 stall, but no local tranny shop is willing to do it because they claim I will blow my tranny to bits, and were surprised I haven't already. I don't believe them. I've tortured mine for the last 2 years and haven't had any troubles. It has a Transgo shift kit in it and has been freshly rebuilt. I think Art Carr and Coan make converters, but are pricey. Any suggestions? This is in an 84 dodge 1/2 ton. Its a little slow off the line until she hits about 2200 rpm and then she hauls @$$. A 2500 stall would be just perfect! Any suggestions guys? |

Call up Edge Racing or Continental for custom converter work. I don't have contact info off hand but more then one board member has used each here so if you use the search function or google you'll find their info. |

http://www.edgeracingconverters.com/contact.htm They built me a 2400 stall for my early 904. Get the specs about your car/truck together and give them a call. The trans gearing, rear end gearing, wieght of the vehicle, Horsepower out of the motor ... See which convertor they recommend... |
