I believe my choke is completely non operational. It hasn't been a problem but I haven't owned this car though the winter yet. I'm considering dual 1bbls and dutra duals. should I bother trying to choke it when I convert or leave it off.

You will definitely want an operational choke of some kind on a street-driven vehicle, for sure.

Do both carbs need to have a choke or just one? anyway to hookup a manual cable operated choke. 240z's came with those for the twin SU's. they worked pretty good. I enjoyed the added hassle/charm of having to shut it off after turning the corner off my block
