I just got 10" drums and spindles from a 1970 Challenger. They sold me 9" upper control arms with them, because they broke a bolt on the 1970 and couldn't get the right ones. (They don't let you pull your own at this yard.) I saw before I even got off the yard that they did not fit. The 9" ball joints were much smaller. 7/16" nuts instead of 9/16" nuts, is one way of looking at it. (I later found the main ball joint threads to the UCA are larger on the 10" too.)

Then they got me UCAs with the bigger ball joints, but they were too wide at the mounting points - maybe b-body. They eventually found control arms that were the right width AND had the larger ball joint - I don't know what they came off of.

There seems to be some confusion about these things. I suspect the factory carried parts over between runs or something. There may be combinations I know nothing of, but I know for certain that you cannot depend on finding a 10" drum spindle that will fit 9" drum upper control arms. Been there - done that.
