Does the starter on a 225 take a shoulder bolt or is there a sleeve used for one of the bolts. Also, where can I get a dipstick and tube for that motor? thanks.

in my experience, there is usually a stud and a bolt holding the starter on...i think the larger size hole is to give you a little wiggle on the stud to install the other bolt. never even noticed how big the holes are until reading your post.

i made my dipstick tube out of 5/16 in brake tubing. seems to work. i am sure there are still replacements available, probably even from a dealer.
