I have a 1967 Dart GT 225. I just swapped over to the Super six an am wondering if I need to plug the Heated Air port on my Carter 2 barrel? I am having trouble getting it to fire up and noticed the port without a hose on it, is it supposed to breathe air or should I plug it up?

Any vacuum ports on the base of the carb should be connected to the correct hose or plugged off. The only exception might be the large nipple near the top of the fuel bowl. (that's the evap emissions bowl vent- useless if you don't have the evap cannister setup).
