I'm going to install my J. C. Whitney carpet in my Valiant this weekend. I've got everything off except the front seat, front kick plates, and gas pedal which I'll do tonight. I plan on cleaning up very good under there. I can see that the rear floor pans are in good shape. After cleaning I'm going to brush on some Rustoleum premier paint and after a day of drying re-assemble everything.
Anything I should know from those that have done this? Thanks.
BTW, I put a new carbon brush in my power top motor, got it working, filled up the reservoir with break fluid and low and behold, my power top now works. I love this stuff.
