 Hi Boys!!!! I'm having some trouble understanding rear ends , and bolt paterns. I am planning on using the MP disc brake conversion for my front end on my 64 dart 270 with the 225 and I want to upgrade the rear to 10" drums and a 5x4.5 bolt pattern to match the front. Can I just swap axles or do I have to do a rear end conversion? Also, Can I just swap axles if I keep the 9" drums?

Also, whats the widest wheel I can use? (ie 14x6.5, 7, 8 etc.) and what model mopars have them?

Can't wait to hear what you all have to say about my rear end!!!!!

The 64 Dart has a 'low cut' rear wheel well opening so it is one of the harder applications to get wide tires into.

For the rear end you canhave your current axles and drums redrilled forthe larger bolt pattern or find a 73-76 A-body Mopar with the BBP rearend and swap that in.

Do a search on the F@rd 8 inch rearend swap, that unit also has the BBP.
