| Post subject: | slant six balancer cracks |
Is this common? It cracked where the key slot is, also had no bolt holding it on ..........animals everywhere. I notice repair sleeves, but they won't fix this. So, I need a balancer key and bolt.. and a repair sleeve? Anyone want to turn doorstop into 35$ |

No, this isn't common. Most slants don't have a bolt retaining the balancer, but you can install one. If your balancer broke at the keyway during operation I'd inspect the crank carefully. You're right about the repair sleeve. The sleeves are only to repair seal wear. |
