I am curious if anyone has tried converting the parking brake to a lever-style handle between the front (bucket) seats in a 63-66 A-body?
I am using a 4 speed 64 Valiant as my daily driver these days and it'd sure be handier in that location. Thanks for any ideas!

I don't think that would be much of a problem. LOKAR and others, I'm sure, sell floor mount parking brake setups.

Here's one: http://www.lokar.com/product-pgs/emerge ... brake.html

I am going up to the junkyard to look at some options but that Lokar handle is a great heads-up - Thank you!

I am going to do this conversion on my '60 Valiant....I will first look for Omni/Horizon/Turismo because I like the old look of that handle....next would be the neon and PT Cruiser as options as well!

Additional Mopar heaps to look to:
Wife’s Nitro has a hefty looking center console mounted parking brake lever, so probably would a Jeep Liberty where a Nitro is just a Liberty in drag.
