In the article it talked about cold startup noise than was thought to be piston slap. Its been a while since the artical was written. Is there an update on the motor and it startup cold startup noise? Has anyone else stroked there slant and whats your out come? |

This engine is alive and doing well in my 66 Dart wagon. Cold start-up noise is about the same as it always has been, nothing has changed with the 60K miles this engine has racked-up since we built it. Our latest 'trick' is to use the wagon to tow the race car to the track and then my son Allen drives it in the street class while I race the Lancer.  DD

I got to get me one of these wagons. I have a 71 fury big block wagon that I love. I want me 64-66 dart /6 to go with it. |
