Hey Dan, give us a picture of the front of your ride. I always thought those things were special from the front,(they are pretty special from the back too). The fronts look like a baby 300. You know if a guy put fins on one of those, it would look like a baby 300 from the side too.

Nice pics Dan. I REALLY like the truck... I'm kind of partial to red. A couple of questions if you don't mind.

1. Where did you get the ribbed rubber for the trunk mat? I've been looking for some of that for tray lining in a utility cart I just got.

2. Where did you get the new lock strip? Is it the stuff that I see on Ebay from time to time?

I like green better...both as an abstract colour and as a reference to the money I'd rather have in my bank account instead of this truck in my parking spot! It's a great truck in great shape, but I don't have a farm or a contracting business, so whaddaheck am I doing with a pickup truck...???
That's a custom-fit, model-specific trunk mat for the '60-'62 Valiant/Lancer. Got it from Blue Star Spares in Australia!
Nope...the stuff generally advertised in North America is Chev/GMC truck lockstrip. Mine's from Australia.

Well if you were a bit closer I might have some interest. I need a vehicle for my grandson ( why me you ask?... because Grandma says so! ).

About 3 years ago I got some diamond patterned rubber mat from Sears but they don't seem to carry it any more. All I can find anywhere is the cheesy foam stuff that wifee uses to line her kitchen drawers.

Australia you say... Well I got a body panel ( small ) from there and it came intact and in good time so maybe that's what I'll have to do.

Very pretty! This "not-so-astute" viewer never realized your car is a Lancer and not a Valient. It is the Valiant that looks like a Baby 300. Forgive me! All your rides are cool. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Looking for inexpensive (under $100) seat covers for '68 Dart 270, 4-Door with solid back bench seats. I may do a full upholstery replacement at some point, but paint, disc brakes, etc have tied up all my funds this year!

I've seen inexpensive seat covers at the local Autozone, but they don't cover the back of the front seat, and have tie down straps that come down the back. Is that all that's available in this price range?

Finally, I agree with the previous writer... nice rides Dan!

Early Dart Disorder (EDD) is real, and I've got it!

Well, the B30 was Volvo's close equivalent to the slant. Inline-6, 181 cubic inch (mine'll be almost exactly a 198), and bagloads of torque. I'll just tilt my head 30° clockwise whenever I'm working under the hood.

I bought a set about 10 years ago from J.C. Whipme that seemed to work. Took them a while to arrive, but they fit pretty well and do cover the back of the front seat.
