and please feel free to have a laugh at my expense. My turn signals blink incredibly slow, which is fun when trying to make my intentions clear for passing people. I heard that I can make my wipers have more settings, I was wondering if it is possible to install turn signals that go a bit faster. Sorry for the novice question!

Not stupid at all. See this post and get a new flasher. Also make sure you are using the correct bulbs; the old 1034s will slow down a flasher that's meant for the current-production 1157s.

Thanks for the info! I'm glad I am not the only one without the "lanechange blink feature."
